Keloid is not about robots, it is about men. Big Lazy Robot, a small visual effects studio, created this spec film with the purpose of giving free reign to the creative aspects of production that many times are so much missed during profit work. Rather than output a full-length feature at direct-to TV quality, the studio spent over two years putting together this three minute “spec film”. It’s essentially a trailer for a movie that doesn’t exist! Obviously impressive!
The clip has already garnered enough attention to get IAM Entertainment on board to look into producing it into a full-length feature.
Energy is the key.
Box explores the synthesis of real and digital space through projection-mapping onto moving surfaces. Absolutely fascinating!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or gazelle. When the sun comes up, you’d better be running.
